Community Organizing for Action
Our mission is to develop and empower sustainable communities through networking, sharing knowledge, and co-acting with our neighbors. We:
* Support the development of grassroots communities with a spirit of care, respect, and love for one another.
* Take collaborative actions and make strategic plans that strengthen our local communities and generate prosperity and well-being.
* Network activities for community self sufficiency locally and nationally to create a web of strength, information and reform.
Co-Act is comprised of professionals from many areas of business who know how to organize, budget, communicate, motivate ? and produce results. Berkshire Co-Act Weekly Meetings
Every Tuesday we gather as a community to share a meal and focus on issues and initiatives that bring uplifting change to our local area. These topics include alternative energy, eliminating hunger, improving nutrition, new forms of currency, and grassroots media.
We begin at 6:30 PM with a pot luck supper, this is followed by a meeting with a specific agenda for that week, ending at 9:30PM. Be sure to register, using the “contact us” tab, to receive weekly agenda announcements
